Bike Hire

We hire bikes to explore the lanes and byways of the Teifi Valley and surrounding area. These can be ordinary bikes or one of our small fleet of e-bikes. Much of the cycling locally is on small picturesque traffic-light lanes, and there is a short section of traffic-free cycling (shared with pedestrians) in the Cilgerran Wildlife Park. All bikes are subject to availability.

For periods of hire exceeding a day, we ask for assurance that the bikes will be stored in a secure and dry environment overnight.

We reserve the right to levy a charge of £30 per bike if any bike requires substantial cleaning when returned to us. (Fair use excluded)

E-BIKES

We have available for hire a small fleet of e-bikes, mostly with step-through frames, fitted with the Bosch Active or Active Plus Drive units, (or other crank drive) suitable for conquering even the steepest hills of West Wales. They are not suitable for off-road use.

Rate per electrically-assisted bicycle (incl VAT)

• £50 per day

We will supply you with a lock and helmet if requested. For periods exceeding one day, please contact us to discuss

Deposit (non-returnable) of 20% (min £10) of the hire charge will be requested on booking.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION FOR E-BIKES can be organised by mutual agreement, at the following rates:

• Up to 10 miles from the shop: £25.00
• Up to 20 miles from the shop: £40.00

REGULAR BIKES

Our fleet of regular bikes consists of mid-quality hardtail hybrid and mountain bikes, suitable for road and light off-road use – hire available for periods of three hours up to a week or even longer.

 In order to guarantee availability, it’s best to ring 01239 621275 and book your hire bikes. We ask for a £10.00 per bike (non-returnable) deposit.

Rate per regular (non-assisted) bicycle (incl VAT)

• Up to three hours: £20.00
• Full Day: £25.00
• Extra Day: £14.00
• Weekly Hire: £65.00
• For each extra week £35.00

Helmets available at no extra charge if desired.

Also Available:

Child Seats, Free with Bicycle if hired for one day or longer, otherwise £6.00 (limited availability)

Trailer Bike, price as for bike hire.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION FOR REGULAR BIKES is NOT generally available, but may be possible for multiple bookings and/or long-term hire, and if agreed, will be at the following rates:

• Up to 10 miles from the shop: £25.00
• Up to 20 miles from the shop: £40.00

Longer distances, price by negotiation

 In busy periods it’s best to ring to book your hire bikes and guarantee their availability. We ask for a £10.00 (non-returnable) deposit per bike.
